I personally handcraft each and every wall hanging. I love being able to oversee each piece of art that leaves my studio. The wall hangings were inspired by our recent move to a cabin in the mountains. They began back in 2013 with the creation of my Vintage Inspired Science Posters, however 2016 was the year I began launching 10 piece collections. Each collection inspired and pulled together with a unified theme.
I also sand, cut and stain the wood for the posters. Sanding gives me an excuse to be outside in the sunshine. The mountain air mixed with the smell of sawdust is very therapeutic for the soul.
